Very good staff
I was dreading visiting A&E as I thought I would have to wait hours.
My details were taken as soon as I arrived. After 10minutes I was seen by a nurse and given a form to take to X-Ray. I only waited there for about 15 mins and was then sent back to A&E to wait to see a doctor. This was for about half an hour. I was amazed that my visit had only taken just over an hour. Very efficient.
Lovely staff on rotary ward and channel day surgery who went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and well cared for.
I was referred to the A&E by our GP as my son had swelling on his face, tongue and neck area. Were we seen immediately and my son was monitored throughout the 2+ hours he was in the care of A&E.
He was transferred to Padua ward and had the same level of excellent care during his overnight stay on 17th April.
I cant suggest any improvements as I believe the care he received was 1st class..
(on behalf of my son aged 10 [aged 11 on discharge 18/4] )
Many thanks indeed.
Kind and helpful staff made me feel safe and relaxed throughout the time that I spent here.
Staff are very professional and sweet I will be writing in when I leave
I found the a&e was very manic and I am not sure all paperwork was filled in completely as when the doctors turned up to take me for surgery I had to wait for relevant paperwork to be filled in. Everybody was helpfull on ward and the people I spoke to before and after surgery were excellent. Bit of a delay in letting me go on discharge day ESP as it was my 30th birthday. All in all happy though and thanks very much for all for everything and everyone's help
